CEDA is currently seeking a Superintendent to join our Pressure and Vacuum Services team in Sudbury ON. This role will support shutdown activities in the Sudbury area and oversee the day-to-day operations of high-pressure and vacuum services on site.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Overall execution of Safety Culture and Leadership.
- Direct and coordinate crews subcontractors and suppliers; ensure daily operations align with plans
- Develop schedules milestones and budgets; monitor progress; manage resources (equipment materials)
- Deliver and communicate targets budgets and objectives to the operations team.
- Conduct thorough site inspections to identify potential hazards assess risk levels and proactively mitigate dangers.
- Champion the CEDA Safety Culture by creating and maintaining a safe work environment.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Clients Management Operations and Corporate colleagues.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients ensuring project deliverables meet quality standards.
- Set performance standards communicate expectations to the team and hold them accountable.
- Track expenses approve invoices and implement cost-effective techniques to stay within budget
- Verify daily time sheets for accuracy on hours and project coding.
Role Specifications:
- Minimum 10 years of relevant work experience including 5 years supervisory experience.
- 3-5 years of direct experience with pressure and vacuum and HPWW
- Technical Degree in an engineering related field considered an asset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook Microsoft Suite Field FX and SharePoint.
- Valid class G drivers license is required Class DZ is preferred
Skills:
- Receptive to change; can adapt to changing circumstances.
- Works closely and collaboratively with the operations team for operational efficiency.
- Demonstrates strong communication skills.
- Leads employee development and training initiatives ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Able to provide a negative pre-employment drug and alcohol test.
