The purpose of this role is to manage and deliver the administration of insolvency matters especially in relation to the Technical Accounting and Finance items below. The role is hands-on with responsibility for delivering these items in our National Insol6 & Treasury support to ensure consistent support within the Turnaround and Restructuring service line.
As a Finance Team Member you will:
- Set up new client jobs in Insol6 including opening and closing client bank accounts establishing and maintaining term deposits and managing overdraft facility requests.
- Support Turnaround & Restructuring client account cashbook processes including processing client receipts payments remittance advice payroll dividend distributions and Single Touch Payroll submissions.
- Perform periodic bank account reconciliations and assist with preparation of monthend and statutory reporting across client accounts.
- Ensure all tasks comply with internal systems policies and procedures by working collaboratively with T&R professional services and engagement partners.
- Proactively engage with the Insol6 software and implementation of functionality across Turnaround and Restructuring engagements
- Coordinate with banks and relationship managers to support operational banking requirements. Be a part of the T&R National Engagement Support Team (NEST) validating software information during Insol6 system upgrades and interface maintenance.
- Responsible for overseeing the implementation of new accounting and reporting requirements and providing guidance on statutory lodgements and on complex accounting system issues.
