We are opening a brand-new Fairfield by Marriott in Nags Head Outer Banks and are seeking a hands-on Marriott-experienced General Manager to lead the hotel from pre-opening through full operations. This is an owner-led environment offering true autonomy decision-making authority and the opportunity to build a high-performing team from the ground up in a desirable coastal market.

What Youll Do
Lead all pre-opening activities including hiring training and Marriott brand readiness

Ensure full compliance with Marriott brand standards inspections and audits

Oversee daily hotel operations labor management budgeting and team culture

Drive guest experience RevPAR performance and overall profitability

Build and maintain strong relationships with ownership and brand partners

Establish efficient clean and well-run operations in a seasonal market

About You
Proven Marriott General Manager experience with owner-level accountability

Strong background in select-service hotel operations

Confident leading operations in a seasonal or coastal market

Hands-on leader focused on operational excellence efficiency and team engagement

Comfortable managing 70120 key properties

Preferred Qualifications

Prior hotel pre-opening experience

Strong Marriott brand background
