Job Summary

Our Singapore office islooking to reinforce our P&I claims team in Asia and are looking to hire claims specialists to support us in the handling and settling of P&I claims for our Asia Pacific Assureds.

The successful candidate will be expected to handle claims from the start until the claim comes to an end either by settlement or because of the time bar. He/She will work fairly independently but will also be expected to be a team player and align strategies and objectives with the team and the wider organisation.

What we are looking for:

Senior Claims Handler

Having a sound knowledge and/or practical experience with maritime law.
Maritime law / dispute resolution professional.
Degree in Law / Degree in Maritime Studies/ Degree in nautical studies with relevant working experience
Being highly motivated and positive
An agile mindset adaptability especially because claims volume fluctuates and there is no telling when will be a busy season. Therefore the successful candidate should ideally be one who is willing and able to respond proactively to Assureds demands.
Providing the Assureds with timely and practical advice/ guidance
Proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia/Malay is required to liaise with Bahasa-speaking clients/regional partners.
