Full-time Permanent Role

This is an exciting opportunity to accelerate the City of Unleys data capabilities build high value analytics solutions and shape how information informs strategic and operational decisions across the organisation.

About the role

As the Business Intelligence Analyst you will play a pivotal role in transforming complex organisational data into clear accurate and actionable insights.

You will lead the development of Power BI reporting design and maintain data integrations and pipelines and uplift the organisations analytical capability through coaching documentation and governance. This role works closely with business units across Council to streamline processes improve data quality and enable automation that drives efficiency and transparency.

About you

You are curious detail oriented and passionate about helping people make better decisions through great data. You thrive in a role that balances technical depth with stakeholder engagement and enjoy bringing clarity to complex information.

To succeed in this role you will have:

Demonstrated ability in designing and delivering highquality analytics solutions that transform organisational data into reliable meaningful insights that support decision making.

Proven experience in effectively engineering and managing data pipelines system integrations and automated workflows that ensure accurate timely and secure data flows across systems.

Experience in developing intuitive wellstructured and performanceoptimised reporting products that meet the needs of executives managers and operational teams.

Strong capability in querying modelling and transforming data to solve complex information challenges and improve data quality and usability.

Excellent communication skills with experience in working collaboratively with stakeholders across the organisation translating needs into practical solutions and enhancing data literacy and confidence in selfservice analytics.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem solving values high quality insights and is motivated by helping others build confidence in using data.
