Hiring Range
Medical Assistant $17.00-$19.13
Licensed Practical Nurse $21.00-$23.63

About this Position
Assists physicians and staff in the delivery of patient care as directed following established methods procedures and standards. Under minimum supervision utilizes a systematic approach to patient care incorporating the following: assessment planning implementation and evaluation.
Required Qualifications
- Vocational/Technical
Certification as Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nursing
(degree must be conferred on or before agreed upon start date) Six (6) months of OB/GYN clinical experiencerequiredunlessinternshipcompleted in the OSU clinic system.
Certifications Registrations and/or Licenses:
- Current Registered Medical Assistant/Certified Medical Assistant/Licensed Practical Nurse licensurerequiredin the state of OK by an accredited school of nursing/medical assisting.
- Current CPR certification (please attach copy)
- Valid Drivers License
Skills Proficiencies and/or Knowledge:
- Skilled delivery of patient care and procedures; medication administration triage experience direct patient care.
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Computer literacy required.
- Ability to learn new processes tools and equipment as required.
- Excellent customer service skills
Preferred Qualifications
One (1) year of experience as a Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nursing in an OB-GYN clinic
Skills Proficiencies and/or Knowledge:
- Referral/ authorizationexperience preferred.
- Bi-lingual highly preferred
- Knowledge of all areas related to clinic workflow.
- Experience with EPIC highly preferred
