Job Summary

  • Based at our Geelong Waurn Ponds Campus hybrid work arrangements
  • Full-time and fixed-term until June 2026
  • HEW 5 $83407 - $% Superannuation

The role:

Were looking for a highly organised techsavvy multitasker who enjoys providing great customer service just as much as keeping systems projects and processes running smoothly.

As the Officer Health and Safety Programs youll play a key role in supporting the development and delivery of health and safety systems and initiatives across the University. If youre someone who quickly picks up new digital tools enjoys working across multiple projects and helping others navigate systems with confidence this role is for you.

In a typical week you will:

  • Provide friendly reliable customer support for our health and safety and contractor management systems
  • Coordinate system administration tasks and maintaining digital content
  • Support projects events and engagement activities that help lift health and safety across the University
  • Create and update online resources SharePoint pages and communications
  • Contribute to governance materials including work instructions and guidelines
  • Keep an eye on digital trends and bring fresh practical ideas to improve our systems

What you will bring:

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Strong digital confidence and the ability to learn new systems quickly
  • A love of being organised and working across multiple tasks and projects
  • A collaborative mindset and a knack for practical problemsolving

To be successful youll have:

  • Completion of a Degree without subsequent relevant work experience; or
  • Completion of an Associate Diploma and at least two years subsequent relevant work experience; or
  • Completion of a Post-Trades Certificate or Advanced Certificate and extensive relevant experience as a Technician; or
  • An equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training
