Full-Time 1.0 FTE 8-hour Afternoon Shifts

How you will contribute
An Assistant Manager (RN) who excels in this role:
- Supervise and coordinate afternoon OR staff.
- Coordinates changes to the OR schedule with the anesthesia team and surgeons.
- Communicates with the PAR and PACU nursing staff to facilitate improved throughput of patients.
- Completes patient and family rounding and service recovery as needed.
- Make adjustments to staffing as needed to account for add on or cancelled cases.
- Provide patient care as needed to facilitate surgical needs of patients.

What we are looking for
Applicants should have a state of Michigan RN license and possess an associate degree from an accredited nursing school (bachelors degree preferred).
Additional requirements include:
Basic Life SupportHealth Care Provider (BLS-HCP)
- 2 years Perioperative Experience (Preferred)
- 3 years Leadership Experience (Preferred)
- CNOR (Certified Nurse Operating Room) (Preferred)
