The Opportunity
An Outstanding academy in Manchester is looking for a reliable and professional Site Caretaker to join their hardworking estates department. The school prides itself on its state-of-the-art facilities and requires a caretaker who is meticulous about site security and preventative maintenance. You will work in a collegiate atmosphere where your contributions to the schools infrastructure are directly linked to student wellbeing and safety.
Role Details
Safety Protocols: Maintaining rigorous records for health and safety compliance including emergency lighting and fire extinguisher inspections.
Operations: Managing the operation of the heating and plant systems to ensure appropriate temperatures are maintained across the site.
Cleaning Oversight: Working alongside the cleaning supervisor to ensure that the internal school environment meets the highest standards of hygiene.
Community Use: Assisting with the set-up and security for evening lettings and community events held at the school.
