Job Title: Legal Administrative Assistant Financial Services

About the Role
Our client a highly regarded national law firm is seeking a Legal Administrative Assistant to join their Financial Services practice in Vancouver. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced LAA who thrives in a professional fast-paced environment and enjoys providing high-level administrative support to busy lawyers.

Key Responsibilities
- Preparing editing and formatting legal correspondence and documents
- Maintaining client files including opening closing organizing and daily filing
- Managing lawyers calendars scheduling meetings and coordinating logistics
- Coordinating travel arrangements as required
- Entering time entries and assisting with billing preparation
- Maintaining internal systems and databases
- Providing general administrative support to the legal team as needed
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years experience as a Legal Administrative Assistant (law firm experience preferred)
- Intermediate-level word processing skills
- Strong computer proficiency including Microsoft Word Excel Outlook and PowerPoint
- Minimum typing speed of 60 words per minute
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks prioritize effectively and meet tight deadlines
- Demonstrated ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion
