Job Title: Assistant ManagerResponsible to: Sales & Operations ManagerAn exciting opportunity to join our team in Edinburgh. We are looking for creative collaborative and independent thinkers who understand the true essence of luxury retail service and want only dedicated retailers who have the ambition to grow with the brand and their department as we expand our physical network a passionate ambassador for the Johnstons of Elgin brand run the store to exceed customer expectations and meet targets. Motivate and develop your team to deliver the highest level of customer experience and store is a permanent full-time opportunity working 38 hours per week 5 days out of 7. Salary starts from 29000 per annum dependent on the RoleYou will be supporting our Store Manager at our retail store in Edinburgh with these responsibilities-Customer focus:Have a deep understanding of luxury client experience standards and be able to coach your team in a shop-floor-focused individual who has a passion for driving sales and setting an example through your energy knowledge and hosting a strong relationship builder and natural networking and developing beneficial B2B relationships in the with your Store Manager and Head of Retail to develop client retention initiatives and store awareness a strong understanding of clienteling strategy and be able to coach your team in developing these :Develop a culture of success and ambition within your the highest standards of behaviour and teamwork by addressing issues directly and setting expectations in line with company weekly training sessions to improve the teams knowledge of brand and product and to build confidence in client a true coach who inspires the team to grow both professionally and nurture and retain :Support your Store Manager with all operational tasks and a luxury environment on the shop floor by driving and implementing visual merchandising standards and overseeing store an immaculate BOH stock area with a keen eye on product care and storage standards. Ensure stock management and inventory accuracy are maintained to the highest knowledge of the companys woven and knitted cashmere products and ensure the store team is confident in styling and advising customers on fit and YouBe a passionate retailer who loves the role and brings infectious energy to the team.A true leader who cares for the team and prioritises their experienced salesperson who enjoys hosting and delighting coach the team to meet the same service standards you confident in your ability but open to learning new skills and ways of experience working within luxury retail or an effective communicator with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all an extensive client network and the ability to build strong relationships with regular and returning customers to encourage repeat exemplary customer service skills and an understanding of luxury retail a keen interest in craftsmanship and authentic Scottish textile genuine passion for our brand and confidently share our rich history and heritage with commercially aware and keep up to date with fashion excellent communication and interpersonal skills with colleagues and customers UsFounded in 1797 Johnstons of Elgin is an innovative luxury clothing brand celebrating 225 years of experience in working with the worlds finest fibres.
