What Youll Do:
With all the numbers and forecasts and spreadsheets flying around the accounting department every day we need someone to manage all day-to-day activities. As the Accounting Manager youll be responsible for educating associates on corporate policy reviewing the work of accounting associates and much more.
Heres a more in-depth look at what youll be doing on a daily basis:
- Communicate and train properties on Accounting Procedures.
- Verify the accuracy of night audit work through Excel spreadsheets and web-based applications.
- Assist properties in the reconciliation and billing of city ledger accounts
- Trace all credit card /cash deposits from PMS system to each bank account on a daily basis. Research any missing deposits or shortages.
Where Youve Been:
Were looking for someone with a Bachelors in Accounting or a similar field. You also at least 5 years supervisory experience in accounting/finance. Previous experience in hotels is preferred. Finally you have excellent communication skills and are able to positively and professionally communicate directives and guidance to your department.
