LandSea will be providing workforce catering andaccommodation services for guests onboard the MV Isabelle a 650-passengerFloatel. The Floatel will be permanently docked in Squamish B.C. and isestimated to operate for up to three client Bridgemans is a global provider of workforce floatels andmarine services. Their vessel the MV Isabelle will be arriving in Canada inearly 2024. All crew members onboardthe MV Isabelle must have the minimum marine safety (Seafarers) certificationsrequired by Transport Canada for the specific job. At work the crew is provided withaccommodation full meals and WIFI and can access health/gym facilities theycan access when off work. We provide partial uniforms and help with thetravel/reservations as needed to and from locations. Excellent Health andWellness benefits are offered after three months.

The 3rd Cook / Sandwich Maker prepares and portions food items and performs various duties by production requirements and LandSea sanitation standards. Uses daily worksheets and standardized receipts to cook meals.
General Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepares all food items using prep lists and standard LandSea recipes
- Follow proper food handling procedures
- Maintains accurate rotation of food to assure top quality and freshness
- Manages leftover foods correctly; cover label date and accurately store according to LandSea standards
- Maintains clean and orderly refrigerators and work areas
- Ensures stations are cleaned sanitized and organized at the end of the shift (including cleaning of kitchen equipment)
- Maintains a safe and sanitary work environment that conforms to all food safety standards and regulations
- Follows safety policies and accident reporting procedures
Job Qualifications
- 1 years experience in prep work or food service is preferred
- Camp kitchen experience is an asset
- Must hold a valid food safety certificate
- Knowledge of food prep proper knife handling temperature control and sanitation is an asset
- Excellent people skills and able to work well within a team environment
- Great communication skills
- Ability to work independently effectively and efficiently
- Demonstrates basic math and counting skills
Physical Requirements
- Stand walk stoop kneel or crouch for long periods of time
- Fast and repetitive movements of fingers hands and wrists
- Use muscles to lift push pull or carry objects up to 50 lbs
- Use hands to handle objects and tools
- Able to complete up to 12 hours shifts
Other Requirements
- All crew members onboard the MV Isabelle must have theminimum marine safety (Seafarers) certifications required by Transport Canadafor the specific job.
- STCW Basic Safety Training
- Seafarer Medical Certificate
- Pre-employment drug and alcohol clearance
- Completed Landsea or site-specific Orientation and SafetyTraining
- Completed Health Questionnaire
- Valid Government issued ID for air travel
- Two (2) references from former employers required
- Criminal Record Check
