Job Summary
MEMCO Spring is hiring experienced Concrete Finishers for the Conroe area. The right employee must have his own tools and have previous experience working as a Concrete Finisher and work in a safely and efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Spread level and smooth concrete using rake shovel hand or power trowel hand or power screed and float.
2. Align forms for sidewalks curbs or gutters.
3. Monitor the concrete as it is being poured and communicate with the team to ensure proper finishing.
4. Apply hardening and sealing compounds to cure the concrete surface.
5. Repair resurface and replace worn or damaged sections of concrete structures.
6. Clean and maintain tools and equipment used in the finishing process.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Concrete Finisher or similar role.
- Knowledge of concrete mixing pouring and finishing techniques.
- Ability to use a variety of hand and power tools effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and quality.
- Physical stamina and strength to lift and carry heavy materials.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
