What Youll Do
- Operate finishing and boxing equipment while ensuring proper labeling procedures.
- Deburr buff and polish components according to part prints routing instructions and bills of materials.
- Sort and rework non-conforming parts as needed; notify supervisors of defective product.
- Bag and box finished products in line with established quality standards.
- Monitor parts for quality defects during operation.
- Follow safe working practices and utilize personal protective equipment at all times.
- Maintain cleanliness organization and safety of work areas per established procedures.
- Complete daily labor cards and other required documentation accurately and timely.
- Develop skills for multiple production cells as needed and support team members efficiently.
- Operate with a sense of urgency when required and demonstrate respectful behavior toward all employees.
What Youll Need
- High school diploma or GED.
- Basic computer and math skills (addition subtraction multiplication division; fractions and decimals).
- Ability to read and understand instructions blueprints correspondence and quality forms.
- Safely operate finishing equipment hand tools scales and tape machines.
- Ability to lift move and handle up to 40 pounds regularly.
- Close vision and ability to adjust focus.
- Knowledge of safety procedures including Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS).
- Attention to detail teamwork and professionalism.
