Trinity Health Of New England is looking for a Radiology Technologist to join our Radiology team of mission-driven healthcare innovators. Our vision is to provide state-of-the-art healthcare to those within our local communities creating a positive impact for everyone that walks through our doors.
Position Purpose
Under the direction of a board-certified radiologist. Performs radiographic procedures of various complexities on infant child adolescent adult and later adult patients ensuring the product of quality images of all appropriate anatomical structures for interpretation by the responsible radiologist.
What you will do
- The staff member is responsible for generating radiographic examinations utilizing diagnostic radiographic equipment under the direction of the ordering physician and/or radiologist.
- Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on his/her unit. The individual must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development of the life span and possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patients status and interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patients requirements.
Minimum Qualifications
- Education: Graduate of a recognized program in Radiologic Technology. Associates Degree preferred.
- Licensure: ARRT: Radiologic Technologist.
- Certification: BLS. Registry eligible candidates must pass ARRT exam within 90 days of hire.
