A leading healthcare system is seeking Polysomnographic Technologists to join its sleep medicine team in Spokane Washington. This role supports the diagnosis and treatment of sleep disorders by conducting sleep studies monitoring cardiopulmonary function and assisting physicians in delivering high-quality patient care.

What Youll Do:
Conduct Sleep Studies

Perform overnight polysomnography testing to monitor sleep patterns and physiological activity
-
Record and analyze data related to respiratory neurological and cardiopulmonary function
-
Follow physician orders and sleep lab protocols
Monitor Patient Safety & Comfort
-
Observe patients throughout sleep studies and respond to clinical changes
-
Ensure accurate placement of monitoring equipment and sensors
-
Provide education and support to patients undergoing testing
Interpret & Document Results
-
Maintain accurate documentation of patient observations and sleep data
-
Apply established protocols to interpret sleep study results
-
Escalate unusual findings or complications to physicians and clinical leadership
Maintain Clinical Equipment

Ensure sleep monitoring equipment is functioning properly
-
Troubleshoot equipment issues when necessary
-
Maintain accurate documentation and quality control standards
Required Qualifications
Completion of ASTEP Program or equivalent education/experience
Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) certification BRPT
Basic Life Support (BLS) American Heart Association
2 years of recent experience in sleep study technology
Candidates may also qualify with one of the following credentials:
