Compensation: $40000.00

Start Date: ASAP

Education/Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree (preferred) or 3 years of related experience
  • Proficiency in running a healthcare-related practice (preferred)
  • Knowledge and compliance with HIPAA regulations
  • Knowledge of insurance authorization and billing requirements (preferred)
  • Strong relationship-building skills with clients and clinical staff
  • Experience using Electronic Medical Record systems (EMR)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in using computer software and phone systems
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks efficiently
  • Ability to be patient and possess compassion and composure
  • Professional and friendly demeanor

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Answer incoming calls in a professional manner take messages and/or direct calls to the appropriate individual or department
  • Schedule/reschedule client appointments
  • Welcome and check in clients upon arrival
  • Provide first-level support to clients answer questions and process payments
  • Relay information regarding services of the practice to clients upon request
  • Assist with the intake process for new potential clients
  • Educate clients on Insurance Explanation of Benefits (EOB)
  • Check eligibility and benefits for a client
  • Manage sensitive client information
  • Order necessary medical clinical and office supplies
  • Keep the office in a presentable state
  • Managing AR/AP
  • Recording transactions in our accounting system
