DescriptionPrimary Duties & Responsibilities
- To lead the Operation team for overall production delivery of Roadm products.
- To supervise and maintain production line in proper order following procedures and control plan all the time.
- To execute production build plans & activities according to timeline. To participate to continuously monitor and improve the product line processes & quality.
- To provide the necessary support and coordination to pilot build of new products for timely completion.
- Identify quantify and report any quality problem with materials and / or processes for seeking solution from the team.
- To drive relevant counterparts (e.g. Main Store Finished Good & etc) for timely kitting and completion of jobs against customer delivery schedule.
Education & Experience
- A Degree in Business Admin / Economics / IE / ProductionManagement or its equivalents with at least 10 years of relevant work experience in high volume high mix production environment managing production.
Skills
- Leadership capabilities to manage an engineering production & support teams.
- Possess strong communication & interpersonal skills and enjoy the process of problem-solving.
- Work effectively with other members of Coherent.
- Experience working with Oracle/ ERP/ SAP/ MRP tools is a bonus.
- Experience working on lean manufacturing and quality improvement projects is a bonus.
