Job Duration: 6 Weeks (Possible Extension)
Schedule: Monday Friday 9:00 AM 5:00 PM
Pay Rate: $24/hour (W2)

A healthcare facility is seeking a skilled and dependable Medical Assistant to support both front-office and back-office operations. This role requires strong clinical and administrative abilities patient-focused communication and the flexibility to assist wherever needed within the center. Responsibilities
Greet room and assist patients during clinic visits
Perform front-office and back-office duties as needed
Take and record vital signs accurately
Perform phlebotomy/venipuncture and draw blood samples
Administer vaccines and perform point-of-care (POC) testing
Conduct EKGs as required
Schedule appointments and manage patient flow
Answer phones and assist with patient inquiries
Document patient information in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system
Maintain a clean safe and organized clinical environment
Collaborate effectively with clinical and administrative staff
Qualifications
Minimum 1 year of Medical Assistant experience (excluding externship)
Medical Assistant Certification strongly preferred
Occupational Health experience strongly preferred
Required experience with phlebotomy/venipuncture and EMR systems
Strong attention to detail and computer proficiency
Excellent communication and patient interaction skills
Must-Have Skills
Front and back-office experience
Phlebotomy
EKG
Point-of-care (POC) testing
Scheduling and patient coordination
Rooming patients
Taking vital signs
BLS or CPR certification
