DescriptionThe program manager plays an integral leadership role at 100 Elk modeling tone and culture for staff and participants and setting the tone for living by the Christian Science principles of integrity compassion and respect. They collaborate with the program director to ensure the 100 Elk program runs smoothly working directly with lead instructors and staff to support participants teachers and chaperones. They work closely with the program director to facilitate training oversee the day-to-day schedule respond to participant and staff needs and coach staff. The program manager will assist the program director in setting the tone and culture of 100 Elk by exemplifying Christian Science and supporting key 100 Elk pillars: revealing the possibilities within and feeling loved and valued. The program manager serves joyfully communicates clearly and responds thoughtfully to needs.

Qualifications- Live a demonstrated commitment to Christian Science
- At least 20 years old; high school graduate or equivalent at time of employment
- Willingness to uphold high moral and ethical standards
- College degree in education field preferred
- Team leadership experience preferred
- Enthusiasm for working with young people with love patience and consistency
- Enjoys working with children and participants of all ages
- Committed to both secular 100 Elk Outdoor Center programs and Christian Science camp experiences
- Youth/camp/outdoor education program operations experience preferred
- Experience (personal or as a guide) preferred in one or more outdoor adventure activities: mountaineering high ropes low ropes and initiatives horsemanship canoeing or other
- Excellent communication and organization skills
- Have or be working towards a Level II ropes course certification (100 Elk can provide training/certification)
- First Aid/CPR or Wilderness First Aid certification is required (100 Elk can provide training/certification)
- Proficient with Google Suite; ability to navigate Microsoft Office
- Experience with or willingness to learn Canva
- Ability to learn new technological platforms
