Job Summary
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
- Licensed Practical Nurse under the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC).
- Provides patient care under supervision following established care plans and protocols.
- Performs BLS/CPR and responds to emergencies.
- Takes vital signs identifies allergies administers medications and monitors effectiveness and side effects.
- Assists with activities of daily living including feeding bathing and hygiene.
- Prepares patients for lab tests and collects and processes specimens.
- Educates patients and caregivers on health maintenance and self-care.
- Documents patient care medications procedures and test results accurately.
- Maintains medical supplies ensures equipment cleanliness and functionality.
- Communicates effectively with healthcare team members and external entitie
