Program Manager - Distribution
Work Mode: Hybrid. In this hybrid role youll split your time between ourKing of Prussia PA office client on-site meetings and remote work.
About the Role
ExecuPOWER is seeking an experienced Program Manager - Distribution to lead large-scale electric utility distribution programs such as PA LTIIP initiatives from concept through completion. This position offers the flexibility of remote work while maintaining strong collaboration through scheduled onsite engagements.
As a Program Manageryou will serve as the primary client-facing representative ensuring project performance aligns with technical financial and safety standards while driving innovation and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Program & Project Leadership:
- Lead program management for Distribution initiatives ensuring on-time on-budget and high-quality delivery.
- Develop and manage detailed project schedules identify risks and proactively implement mitigation strategies.
- Oversee all program phases including planning execution and close-out.
- Monitor program performance through variance reporting and effectively manage scope schedule and resource changes.
Client & Stakeholder Management:
- Serve as the main point of contact for clients subcontractors and internal teams.
- Collaborate with client leadership to support long-term infrastructure goals and business objectives.
- Prepare and deliver polished presentations and progress reports to executive leadership and external stakeholders.
Team Development & Oversight:
- Mobilize assign and guide project teams according to strengths and capabilities.
- Provide coaching feedback and performance reviews to enhance team effectiveness.
- Ensure all team members adhere to ExecuPOWERs safety quality and technical standards.
Program Governance & Reporting:
- Track project milestones budgets and deliverables to maintain transparency and accountability.
- Facilitate weekly project status meetings and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Maintain accurate documentation including change orders variance reports and financial tracking.
Business Growth & Continuous Improvement:
- Partner with leadership to identify and pursue new business opportunities within the distribution utility market.
- Promote innovation through new technologies processes and tools to enhance client value and operational efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering or a related technical/business discipline.
- 8 years of experience in project or program management within the electric utility industry.
- Proven success managing large-scale utility programs such as distribution modernization or LTIIP initiatives.
- Strong understanding of project financials scheduling tools and performance metrics.
- Excellent leadership communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to travel periodically to client or project sites for key meetings and reviews.
