In this role you will join a collaborative analytics community powering smarter quicker decisions through predictive analytics automation and data modelling. You will partner closely with customer-facing leaders to build and refine models challenge assumptions and bring local insights to the forefront of strategic choices. Your work will strengthen how our teams operate day-to-day while enabling bold enterprise-level progress.
Accountabilities:
Customer Insight Leadership: Champion the use of local customer insight to influence brand strategy and resourcing ensuring analytics directly drives decisions.
Stakeholder Partnership: Build trusted relationships communicate clearly and influence outcomes to create material business impact.
Analytics BAU Delivery: Support maintain and deliver analytics reports with tight turnaround times and quality aligned to agreed SLAs.
Method Innovation: Continuously evaluate and test new quantitative analysis methods and technologies adopting those that deliver value.
Customer Data Mastery: Develop a deep understanding of internal customers data and analytical needs with a focus on customer-facing model leadership.
Capability Deployment: Support the development and deployment of analytical capabilities across the organization to scale impact.
Continuous Improvement: Instill a culture of experimentation learning and rapid deployment of new capabilities that enhance performance.
Competitive Advantage: Develop innovative analytical practices that create and sustain differentiation in the market.
Information Access: Use a variety of tools and sources to access and synthesize the right information efficiently.
Findings Synthesis: Summarize and present insights through appropriate channels tailoring messages to different audiences and decision points.
Technical Fluency: Apply deeper technical skills and shared knowledge across the function including expertise in key data sets and modelling approaches.
Integration Awareness: Demonstrate strong understanding of integration points between analytics work and adjacent teams to accelerate collective outcomes.
External Scanning: Monitor leading analytic capabilities within and beyond pharma and identify opportunities to apply them to our context.
Essential Skills/Experience:
In addition to analytical skills should have excellent communication skills with a demonstrated track record of effective business partnership as demonstrated by material business impact and influencing.
The candidate will also be required to continuously evaluate new quantitative analysis methods and technologies.
Develop a deep understanding of internal customers data and analytical needs focusing on the customer-facing model leadership.
Champion the use of local customer insight in strategic and resourcing decisions across the business.
Support maintain and deliver Analytics Reports in BAU to the respective stakeholders.
Maintain tight Turn Around Times and at most quality as per agreed SLA.
Can support the development and deployment of such capabilities across the organization.
Instills a culture of continuous improvement testing and deployment of new capabilities for the business.
Develop innovative analytical practices to create and sustain competitive advantage.
Access appropriate information via a variety of tools and sources
Summarize and present findings through various communication channels.
Capability in applying deeper technical skills and knowledge that is shared across the functional area (e.g. deep knowledge of key data sets modeling capabilities etc.)
Demonstrate a high level of understanding of the points of integration of our work and that of our colleagues.
Monitors the external environment to stay up to date on leading analytic capabilities both within and outside of pharma which can be applied within the organization.
Desirable Skills/Experience:
Experience with SQL and one or more of Python or R for data analysis modelling and reproducible workflows.
Proficiency in BI and data visualization tools (e.g. Power BI Tableau) with a strong storytelling approach.
Hands-on experience in statistical modelling forecasting segmentation and experiment design (A/B testing).
Familiarity with cloud data platforms and modern data stacks (e.g. Azure AWS Databricks Snowflake).
Knowledge of data quality practices SLA management and agile delivery methods.
Strong documentation peer review and communication habits across written visual and verbal formats.
Awareness of compliance privacy and ethical data use in a regulated environment; pharma or healthcare exposure is a plus.
Comfort operating in fast-paced settings prioritizing effectively and making sound decisions with incomplete information.
Use of version control and collaboration tools (e.g. Git Jira Confluence) to streamline team development.
