Position Objective
The Office Assistant will provide administrative assistance to our Executive Director Office Manager Program Director and Facilities Manager. The ASP will report to the Office Manager ensuring the Kidder Creek office and management team runs in an efficient manner. This position is seasonal with part-time and full-time requirements beginning in mid-March and ending mid-October.
Key Job Accountabilities
Guest Services:
- Lodging/RV park - help to manage reservations greet and assist guests.
- Oversee Lost/Found - direct other staff and volunteers to keep organized clean and accessible. Assist in locating items when parents call.
- Mail email and phone messages for staff and guests.
Administrative and Office Support:
- Guest group information packets.
- Mail email and phone messages for staff and guests.
- Bank deposits as requested.
- Assist other management positions as needed.
Program Support:
- Registration - requests for camperships greet and check in guests waitlist processing and phone calls and transportation processing and phone calls.
- Oversee and assist in the completion of counselor packets surveys donor letters and postcards.
- Fall Festival - assist in the coordination of festivals and volunteer recruitment.
Facilities Support:
- Inventory cleaning supplies and request purchases.
- Help to communicate repair needs to Site Manager.
- Assist Food Services Manager as needed.
Supervisory Responsibilities

Education
High School or above
Work Experience
- Customer service and phone communications.
- Administrative experience preferred.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
- Basic computer and accounting skills
- Effective verbal and written communication
- Camping knowledge preferred
Physical Demands
- Sit at a computer for up to 4 hours at a time.
- Walking to and from other areas may be required.
- Bending twisting and stair climbing.
- Lift up to 15 lbs.
Additional Requirements/Skills
- Respect Mount Hermons Mission Vision Values and Commitment statements.
- Adherence to company dress code and professional standards for personal grooming and appearance.
- Valid drivers license and current auto insurance.
- Live Scan.
- This position requires Friday evening work hours and weekends if needed.
