- Arizona and New Mexico license required
- Master Electrician preferred
- EVITP certification preferred
- Field installation experience installing and wiring 100-1200A services both single phase and three phase
| Knowledge Skills and Abilities | - Firsthand knowledge of electrical system installations from 100-1200A services for various voltages
- Ability to test and trouble shoot various electrical systems and electronic controls panels etc.
- Experience with DC wiring for various equipment is beneficial but not required
- Proficient in interpreting electrical blueprints one-line diagrams and schematics
- Good technical written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with basic Microsoft applications (Word Excel etc.)
- Experience communicating directly with and providing services to clients
- Ability to give direction and training to Engineering/Construction peers and teammates
- Ability to multi-task and work on distinct functions of overall project simultaneously

| Supervisory Responsibilities As project scale increases the electrician would need the ability to train existing and/or new field techs on standard electrical installations and/or manage journeymen or electricians in training. | Essential Functions - 100% travel throughout the Southwestern US to various locations is required. A company vehicle will be provided.
- Install and wire various meter bases disconnects load centers for 120/240 and 120/208 services between 100-1200A
- Install various conduit configurations (PVC EMT Rigid) and junction boxes and/or pull boxes.
- Troubleshoot and replace disconnects breakers and other components related to AC power
- Perform grounding installations to include ground rods/plates copper wire and cad weld connections
- Train field techs as needed on electrical systems wiring and installation
- Interact with Project Manager to assist with material needs and take-offs per project
- When required work at elevated heights utilizing a man lift or similar equipment
- Testing electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring equipment and components
- Willing to share industry experience and possibly train other employees on basic electrical installations
- Work with utility company and/or jurisdiction as required for electrical rough in and final inspections
- Work with electrical engineering team to determine best field practices as it relates to feasible electrical system designs
- Work to identify new resources as required by the project for suppliers and subcontract labor
- Identify critical issues that may impact/delay overall project timeline as it relates to the electrical system(s)
- Provide day-to-day production support for project issues
- Install electrical logging meters and provide results to project engineers

| Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to sit stand walk use hands and fingers to feel and handle reach with arms and hands talk and hear. While performing the duties of this job the employee frequently is required to stoop kneel and crouch lift weight or exert a force up to a maximum of 75 pounds. Employee may also be trained in fork truck and man lift operation and will need to be able to work at heights of 40ft or less when required. | Work Environment Approximately 90% of work will be outdoors throughout all seasons with 10% of work being performed in warehouse as required. 100% travel may be required in support of the positions responsibilities. |
