Join the Food Standards Scotland (FSS) Operations Division and be one of our two Field Operations Coordinators responsible for supporting the delivery of Official Controls in meat premises across central and south west of Scotland.
As a key member of the Field Operations team you will be responsible for coordinating the deployment of Meat Hygiene Inspectors across your area and providing business and administrative support to the Operations Manager. Working in collaboration with the area management team consisting of the Operations Manager Field Operations Coordinator and Veterinary Adviser you will coordinate operations relating to staff scheduling planning and support ensuring delivery of our regulatory services.
We are therefore looking for someone with experience of managing front-line teams the coordination of deployment and supply needs and an ability to partner and engage with our field staff.

Working Pattern
Our standard hours are 35 hours per week. Candidates must be willing to working occasional weekends and participate in an on-call rota when requested in response to business needs.
This is a field based role working from home with governance of FSS field teams working in primary meat production premises across the central belt and south west of Scotland. Occasional travel to our main office in Aberdeen.
Applicants must hold a valid driving license and own a private vehicle or be able to travel to various locations of work by other suitable means of transport.
