We have a new Executive Vice President (EVP) at The Aerospace Corporation and we are seeking a highly driven Executive Administrative Partner to provide strategic support during this exciting time. The Executive Administrative Partner will be an integral member of the front office team providing primary support to the EVP along with other members of the front office team as well as backup support for the CEO in close collaboration with the Executive Administrative Partner to the CEO. Primary responsibilities involve optimizing the time and priorities of the EVP to maximize the overall efficiency and productivity of the corporation as well as identifying and executing plans to align with company goals. The ideal candidate will provide administrative leadership in a highly collaborative teaming environment take initiative to identify and solve problems independently and facilitate key business-related decisions. Success in this role involves continuously improving front office processes and procedures while working closely with executives colleagues and customers across the enterprise to effect smooth operations and meaningful operational impact.

This position is full-time onsite located at our Chantilly Virginia campus.

What Youll Be Doing

  • Executes strategic proactive and complex calendar meeting event planning management

  • Arranges complex travel coordination logistics and expense reporting for leadership

  • Organizes and prioritizes critical issues and information for the executive to facilitate efficient decision making

  • Collaborates with team members to ensure prompt receipt of preparation materials and briefings for key activities

  • Leads special projects and events while tracking/driving completion of actions items and deliverables

  • Manages group and corporate reports/deliverables/org charts (compile/edit/publish)

  • Functions as a partner representative and point of contact for EVP with frequent interaction with Board of Trustees executive corporate management various levels of internal management as well as senior government customers industry and other high-level officials

  • Drafts and prepares various correspondence emails letters presentations and white papers on behalf of EVP

  • Provides input and feedback into executive/corporate activities and decisions with follow-up communications and coordination

  • Facilitates business rhythms by closely coordinating schedules meetings and presentations with stakeholders

  • Develops and improves effective processes/systems across the enterprise that provide superior organizationefficiency and industry-lead technical bestpractices

What You Need to be Successful

Minimum Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • Mastery of administrative skills: project management strategic execution of tasks organization detail-oriented writing and proofreading

  • Expert-level technological fluency across a wide range of tools and platforms such as Microsoft Office applications including Outlook Word PowerPoint Teams SharePoint and Excel and meeting tools such as Teams and Zoom

  • Mastery of communication & interpersonal skills: leadership robust collaboration strategic thinking problem-solving emotionalintelligence diplomacy judgment business acumen and decision making across all levels of the organization

  • Ability to rapidly adapt to changing environments and anticipate needs of the organization

  • Ability to handle sensitive and personnel-related information appropriately and support sensitive management functions

  • Ability to work independently and/or lead a team to proactively deliver innovative solutions and resolve issues with minimal direction

  • This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SSBI/SCI security clearance which is issued by the U.S. government. U.S. citizenship is required to obtain a security clearance.

How You Can Stand Out

It would be impressive if you have one or more of these:

  • Prior experience as a senior-level admin or similar role

  • Familiarity with enterprise software packages such as Concur Workday JIRA Confluence

  • Familiarity with Aerospace corporate organizational structures policies processes and practices

  • Experience with classified data handling

We offer a competitive compensation package where youll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to our business. The grade-based pay range for this job is listed below. Individual salaries within that range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education experience knowledge and skills.
