We are looking for full-time Director of Foster Care to add to our team! All you need is a Masters degree in Social Work with at least 2 years experience in childrens services or the equivalent We will teach you the rest!
At TFI Family Services we provide exceptional care and support to children in need. As the Director of Foster Care you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our foster care programs and making a lasting impact on the lives of children and families.
A Day in the Life of a Director of Foster Care
- Lead and oversee the operations of our foster care/recruitment programs ensuring compliance with state regulations and agency policies.
- Develop and implement strategic initiatives to enhance efficiencies training and verifying prospective foster parents
- Collaborate with community partners stakeholders and agencies to increase the pool of foster homes in the states we serve: KS OK NE TX
- Provide guidance and support to a team of dedicated professionals who will recruit and train foster parents
- Monitor program outcomes and evaluate the effectiveness of our recruitment efforts and data-driven decisions to continuously improve our recruiting practices and performance
- Stay abreast of industry trends best practices and legislative changes related to foster care and incorporate them into recruitment retention and implementation.
What We Are Looking For
- A visionary leader with a deep commitment to recruit quality homes for our children.
- Strong knowledge of foster care regulations and policies in the states we serve.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
- Proven experience in program management including budgeting staff supervision and strategic planning.
- Ability to inspire and motivate a team fostering a culture of excellence in the recruitment and retention of foster homes.
- A track record of building and maintaining positive relationships with community partners and agencies.
- Masters degree in social work.
