Job Summary

The Corporate Affairs & Sustainability Manager leads external stakeholder engagement corporate communications and sustainability initiatives in Korea.

This role serves as a strategic interface between the company and key external stakeholders including government bodies industry associations media farmers and partners while aligning local activities with global and regional priorities. The position plays a critical role in protecting corporate reputation supporting business objectives and driving sustainable value creation.

 

Responsibility

1. Corporate Affairs

  • Strengthen corporate brand through effective branding and oversee the development and quality of all corporate communication materials.
  • Lead engagement with government industry associations media and key external partners to build strong trust-based stakeholder relationships.
  • Develop and execute corporate communications strategy including media relations key messaging and reputation and crisis communication management.
  • Represent and communicate the companys position on key business product policy and sustainability matters.
  • Monitor political economic and regulatory trends impacting business and drive proactive responses or advocacy actions.
  • Collaborate closely with regional and global Corporate Affairs teams to align messages priorities and execution of global strategies at the local level.

 

2. Sustainability

  • Develop and implement the local sustainability strategy aligned with global and regional directions while reflecting national priorities and stakeholder expectations.
  • Lead cross-functional sustainability and advocacy initiatives with internal/external partners for measurable impact
  • Build strategic partnerships with key influencers including farmers and food companies and lead community and networking programs to advance sustainability.
  • Manage collaborations with research institutions represent the company externally in sustainability-related research initiatives and coordinate internal alignment across functions.
  • Ensure strong alignment and continuous communication with regional/global Sustainability teams and guide internal teams in executing relevant projects.

 

3. Stewardship

 

  • Oversee product stewardship activities and coordinate required processes with marketing technical and development teams to ensure responsible product use and compliance.
  • Ensure stewardship and sustainability practices align with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

Qualifications :

 

  • Bachelors degree
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in corporate affairs public affairs corporate branding crisis management and internal/external communications 
  • Demonstrated ability to build manage and strengthen relationship with external stakeholders such as government body related associations media and key partner
  • Hand-on experience in media relations including press media advertisement homepage social media etc.
  • Strong ability to work cross-functionally and align with regional and global team
  • Project management skill
  • Solid business English communication skill
  • Anticipate risks and protect company reputation and business interests through proactive issue and crisis management
