We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Credit Manager to join our dynamic team at Swissotel Corniche Park Towers Qatar. As a key member of our financial operations you will be responsible for overseeing our organizations credit policies managing credit risks and ensuring the overall health of our credit portfolio.
- Develop implement and maintain comprehensive credit policies and procedures
- Analyze complex financial statements and credit reports to assess client creditworthiness
- Evaluate and make decisions on high-value credit applications
- Monitor existing credit accounts and proactively identify potential risks
- Collaborate with sales teams to balance credit risk with business growth objectives
- Prepare and present detailed reports on credit portfolio performance and risk exposure
- Negotiate payment terms and develop repayment strategies for delinquent accounts
- Stay updated on Qatari and international financial regulations and credit practices
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives for credit management processes
- Mentor and guide team members in advanced credit analysis techniques
- Manage relationships with key stakeholders including clients financial institutions and internal departments
Qualifications :
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in credit risk management with at least 3 years in a leadership role
- In-depth knowledge of credit analysis techniques and risk assessment methodologies
- Strong understanding of financial statements and credit reports
- Proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis tools
- Excellent leadership communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to make decisive and sound credit decisions
- Experience in mentoring and developing team members
- Knowledge of Qatari financial regulations and credit practices; international experience is a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced goal-oriented environment
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
