Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Credit Manager to join our dynamic team at Swissotel Corniche Park Towers Qatar. As a key member of our financial operations you will be responsible for overseeing our organizations credit policies managing credit risks and ensuring the overall health of our credit portfolio.

  • Develop implement and maintain comprehensive credit policies and procedures
  • Analyze complex financial statements and credit reports to assess client creditworthiness
  • Evaluate and make decisions on high-value credit applications
  • Monitor existing credit accounts and proactively identify potential risks
  • Collaborate with sales teams to balance credit risk with business growth objectives
  • Prepare and present detailed reports on credit portfolio performance and risk exposure
  • Negotiate payment terms and develop repayment strategies for delinquent accounts
  • Stay updated on Qatari and international financial regulations and credit practices
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives for credit management processes
  • Mentor and guide team members in advanced credit analysis techniques
  • Manage relationships with key stakeholders including clients financial institutions and internal departments

Qualifications :

 

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in credit risk management with at least 3 years in a leadership role
  • In-depth knowledge of credit analysis techniques and risk assessment methodologies
  • Strong understanding of financial statements and credit reports
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis tools 
  • Excellent leadership communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to make decisive and sound credit decisions
  • Experience in mentoring and developing team members
  • Knowledge of Qatari financial regulations and credit practices; international experience is a plus
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced goal-oriented environment
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
