Job Summary

The Communications and Engagement Assistant (Level 1) will support the Communications Officer as part of Career Accelerator @ UNSW Business School and AGSM. This role contributes to enhancing the student experience and fostering career development for undergraduate postgraduate and MBA students.

Working within the Career Accelerator and Student Engagement team the Communications and Engagement Assistant willassistin promoting Work Integrated Learning (WIL) and Career Development Learning (CDL) initiatives to students aiming to increase participation and encourage engagement.


The Role:

Assistwith:

  • Communications forundergradpostgradand MBA audiences

  • The organisation of promotional materialsforCareer Acceleratorevents

  • The planning and delivery of communications projects

  • Creating artwork using Canva /Adobe Creative Cloud

  • Social media strategy and engagement

  • Content creation

  • Assistancewith website maintenance and auditson an ad hoc basis

  • Database input

The successful candidate will:

  • Provide a student voice to workstreams and ideation sessions.

  • Align with and activelydemonstratethe UNSW Values in Action: Our Behaviours and the UNSW Code of Conduct.

  • Cooperate with all health and safety policies and procedures of the university and take all reasonable care to ensure that your actions or omissions do notimpacton the health and safety of yourself or others.
