Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) ICU / Med-Surg
Location: Woodsville NH
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Hours: 36 hours per week
Schedule: Night Shift 3 12-hour shifts
Compensation:
Local Rate: $55/hour
Traveler Rate: $60/hour
Position Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced and adaptable ICU / Med-Surg Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality patient-centered care across both intensive care and medical-surgical units. This role requires strong clinical judgment flexibility and the ability to manage a wide range of patient acuity levels in a fast-paced hospital environment.
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct nursing care to patients in ICU and Med-Surg units
Perform comprehensive patient assessments and ongoing monitoring
Administer IV medications fluids and treatments per physician orders
Interpret telemetry and promptly respond to changes in patient condition
Support critically ill post-operative and medically complex patients
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
Accurately document patient care and outcomes in the electronic medical record (EMR)
Float between ICU and Med-Surg units as staffing and patient needs require
Required Skills & Experience
Previous ICU and/or Med-Surg nursing experience
Strong assessment prioritization and critical-thinking skills
Proficiency in telemetry monitoring and IV therapy
Ability to work night shifts and adapt to changing clinical environments
Education
Required:
Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher
Licensure & Certifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
AHA Basic Life Support (BLS)
AHA Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
