Our client a rapidly growing regional Creditors Rights law firm is seeking an Associate Attorney to oversee legal matters from inception through post-judgment remedies. The ideal candidate will deliver high-quality legal representation treat all clients with fairness and respect and thrive in a fast-paced high-volume environment.

Location: This is primarily a remote position based in the Fairfax County Northern Virginia area with occasional in-person requirements for court appearances and on-site meetings.
Locations include:
- Alexandria VA US
- Arlington VA US
- Fairfax VA US
- Falls Church VA US
- Manassas VA US
Compensation:$85000 - $95000 USD Annually
Bonus: A sign-on bonus of up to $2500 for qualified candidates
Responsibilities:
- Demonstrates exceptional legal research writing and oral communication skills.
- Handles high volume caseload and provides expert analysis and advice on legal and regulatory risks.
- Negotiates with opposing counsel to achieve final resolution of cases.
- Willing to travel to various courts within the state of Virginia if needed as legal representation in various legal proceeds and to attend court hearings.
- Works with the Managing Attorney to report all activity and results.
Requirements:
- 0-3 years experience in bankruptcy/collection or civil law litigation attending court proceedings and associated regulations.
- J.D. from an accredited law school with an Active license to practice law in VA. A license to practice law in other states in our footprint (GA SC TN FL VA MD MI OH) or UBE passage is a plus but not mandatory.
- Skilled in the ability to analyze case law and provide recommendations.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Exemplary oral and written communication skills.
- Outstanding Time Management skills
