Cordia Resources is seeking a Senior Payroll Specialist to take ownership of complex multi-state payroll processing activities. The ideal candidate is detailoriented proactive and experienced in ensuring accurate and timely payroll while maintaining compliance with federal state and local regulations.Key Responsibilities- Process multi-state payroll for employees across various locations (5 years required).
- Ensure accurate and timely payroll cycles while adhering to tight deadlines.
- Review audit and reconcile payroll data to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Maintain payroll records in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Assist with year-end processes including W-2s and other payroll-related reporting.
- Collaborate with HR Finance and management teams to resolve payroll issues and respond to employee inquiries.
- Support process improvements and payroll system optimizations.
Qualifications- 5 years of multi-state payroll processing experience required.
- Experience with Costpoint and UKG strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of payroll regulations and compliance requirements.
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage multiple deadlines.
- Strong communication and customer-service mindset.
- Experience working in a government contracting or professional services environment.
