Summer Analyst Program Overview:

The Wholesale Credit Delivery - Commercial & Specialized Industries - Summer Analyst Program will run for approximately 10 weeks in the summer months.

The Summer Analyst Program will consist of:

• Activities: Networking socials case studies and presentations team-building projects

Competitive Summer Analysts will be eligible to receive an offer to return in full time positions as part of our Analyst program upon graduation.

Job Description:

The Credit Delivery Summer Analyst program provides the opportunity to gain exposure to a number of disciplines within investment banking and capital markets. Interns will sharpen financial analysis skills develop an understanding of corporate markets and clients and gain experience in corporate finance and with investment banking products through on-the-job training. Within each group Summer Analysts play a meaningful role in supporting internal and external clients.

This position is specifically for our Wholesale Credit Delivery Commercial & Specialized Industries Banking team with the opportunity to interact with other groups and disciplines throughout the investment bank.

Commercial & Corporate Banking:

The Wholesale Credit Delivery Commercial & Specialized Industries (WCD - CB&SI) team underwrites and manages clients within Truist Commercial Bank and Specialized Industries portfolio. WCD teammates work together with Commercial Middle Market and Industry Specialized Bankers Product Specialists and Risk Managers to deliver capital and strategic ideas to the Truist client base. Interns gain hands-on exposure to credit analysis and client portfolio management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze client financial statements cash flow and industry trends.
• Author annual reviews and assist in the development of credit underwriting thesis of new and existing transactions.
• Works with Portfolio Manager to build financial models based on client profile industry dynamics cost pressures etc. related to deal in order to assess financial wherewithal to repay.
• Initiate risk view and translation into risk rating models to reflect risk in deal in terms of probability of default/loss given default across the risk spectrum.
• Participate in client meetings training sessions and professional development activities.
• Complete special projects and assignments as needed.

Location:

Wholesale Banking is headquartered in Atlanta GA with offices throughout the U.S. in cities including New York Charlotte Chicago Dallas Houston Los Angeles Memphis Miami Nashville Orlando Boston San Francisco and Washington D.C.

This position is specifically for Atlanta GA.

Minimum Requirements:

• Scheduled graduation of final degree by December 2027 or May/June 2028
• Overall GPA of 3.0
• Proven analytical ability and attention to detail.
• Solid leadership and interpersonal skills
• Superior written and oral communication skills
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced team-oriented environment.

Preferred Requirements:

• Accounting Business Economics Finance or STEM major
• Prior completion of Accounting or Finance coursework
• High degree of academic and extracurricular achievement
• Willingness to commit substantial time and energy to the program.
