Job Summary
Job Title: Travel MRI Technologist
Job Location: Rochester NY 14621-3099
Duration: 13 weeks (with possibility to extend)
Shift: Night Shift 4x10-hour shifts (9:00 PM 7:30 AM) FridayMonday
Pay Rate: $2600 $2800 (Weekly Gross)
Position Summary:
The Travel MRI Technologist is responsible for performing high-quality MRI procedures with a strong focus on patient safety image accuracy and compassionate care. This role requires collaboration with radiologists and healthcare teams to ensure optimal imaging outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform MRI procedures with a high standard of accuracy and safety.
Prepare patients and MRI equipment; administer contrast media as required.
Collaborate with radiologists to optimize imaging protocols and techniques.
Document all imaging procedures and patient care accurately.
Provide excellent patient support comfort and customer service.
Maintain cleanliness safety and organization of the MRI work area.
Follow all safety guidelines infection control protocols and facility policies.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills & Experience:
Active New York State Radiologic Technologist or Nuclear Medicine license with injection certification.
Minimum of 2 years of MRI experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of MRI safety protocols and imaging procedures.
Excellent communication and patient care skills.
Education & Certifications:
ARRT(R)(MR) certification required.
BLS certification required.
Must meet all credentialing and compliance requirements.
