W-2 Employee Part-Time / Per-Diem
- Location: Boston or Massachussets (local candidates only)
- Compensation: $55 - $70 per hour based on MHFA experience
- Schedule: Part-time per-diem as needed
- Employment Type: W-2 Employee
Tasks
What Youll Do
- Deliver in-person Mental Health First Aid trainings in accordance with MHFA USA curriculum and fidelity standards
- Facilitate engaging trauma-informed and inclusive learning experiences for adult learners
- Co-facilitate trainings with a second instructor for groups exceeding 15 participants as required by MHFA
- Create a psychologically safe learning environment and manage sensitive mental health discussions professionally
- Follow established training protocols schedules and client requirements
- Complete required MHFA documentation attendance tracking and post-training reporting
- Represent Uplift Learning Solutions professionally at client sites
- Attend virtual meetings with clients
Requirements
Required Qualifications
- Active Mental Health First Aid Instructor certification (Adult)
- Experience delivering in-person or virtual MHFA programs
- Strong group facilitation and communication skills
- Comfort addressing sensitive mental health topics in a live group setting
- Ability to work full-day on-site trainings
- Ability to travel

- Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW / LICSW)
- Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC)
- Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
- Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
- Psychologist (PhD or PsyD)
- Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC / LADC)
- Masters degree or higher in Social Work Counseling Psychology Public Health or a related behavioral health field
- Experience facilitating trainings in workplace healthcare construction or other safety-sensitive environments
- Training in trauma-informed care crisis response or culturally responsive facilitation
- Experience co-facilitating full-day in-person trainings
Compensation & Employment Details
- $55 - $70 per hour paid as a W-2 employee based on experience and qualifications
- Part-time per-diem on-call schedule
- Hours vary based on client needs; no guaranteed minimum hours
- Travel required for on-site sessions; mileage and lodging reimbursed per company policy
- Must be based in or near Boston MA. Massachusetts residency required.
