Job Summary
Volkswagen of Santa Fe is seeking a dedicated Parts Assistant Manager to join our team in Santa Fe NM. This role involves supporting the Parts Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the parts department ensuring efficient inventory management and delivering exceptional customer service to both internal teams and external customers. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to lead and motivate a team.
Pay:
$41600-$52000
3 Weeks of paid time off after 1 year
Responsibilities
- Assist in managing the parts inventory to ensure adequate stock levels and accurate records.
- Support the Parts Manager in daily operations including ordering receiving and distributing parts.
- Provide excellent customer service to dealership personnel and customers by promptly responding to inquiries and resolving issues.
- Help maintain a clean organized and safe work environment in the parts department.
- Train and assist team members to improve efficiency and knowledge of parts handling and sales.
- Contribute to achieving departmental goals and objectives.
Requirements
- Previous experience in automotive parts management or related field preferred.
- Strong organizational and inventory management skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Ability to lead motivate and work as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced dealership environment.
