Job Summary
Westminster Canterbury of Lynchburg a 5-Star rated Continuing Care Retirement Community in Central VA is seeking an LPN / RN Charge Nurse to join our team!
Full-time night shift (7P-7A) position available with a complete benefits package including Medical Dental Vision Paid Time Off 403B with match and more.
- Prepares administers and records prescribed medications as administered.
- Records all care information concisely accurately and completely in a timely manner.
- Administers medications treatments IVs catheters and obtains blood samples as necessary.
- Evaluates nursing care with emphasis on medication administration prescribed treatments and patient responses; consults with supervisory nurse in the establishment of short-term and long-range goals for patients.
- Reports adverse reactions of medications and/or treatments in accordance with facility policies and procedures.
- Provides bedside care for a wide variety of patients.
- Participates in discharge planning as needed.
- A valid unencumbered Virginia LPN OR RN license is required
- Two to three years of experience working in a skilled setting preferred
