Were seeking an Administrative Support Specialist focused on Sexual Assault and Harassment initiatives. This role requires exceptional professionalism discretion and empathy paired with strong organizational and communication skills. You will support critical programs that help individuals access resources navigate processes and engage with prevention and response efforts.
This position is based fulltime at a federal agency client site in Alexandria VA and is contingent upon contract award with an anticipated start date of July 1.
About the Role
As part of a missiondriven team you will provide administrative and operational support for programs addressing sexual assault and harassment. Your work will help ensure that services are delivered efficiently confidentially and with the highest level of care.
Core Responsibilities:
Provide administrative support to the Sexual Assault and Harassment program team to ensure smooth efficient operations.
Coordinate meetings manage schedules and handle sensitive correspondence with professionalism and discretion.
Assist in preparing reports presentations training materials and other program documentation.
Maintain accurate records and databases related to cases resources and program activities.
Support outreach and prevention efforts by organizing events and community engagement activities.
Serve as a point of contact for inquiries related to sexual assault and harassment resources.
Collaborate with team members to streamline processes and enhance service delivery.
Uphold strict confidentiality and sensitivity in all communications documentation and interactions.
Requirements:
Sexual harassment/assault response and prevention certification is required; candidates without this certification cannot be considered.
Associates degree in a relevant field required; Bachelors degree strongly preferred.
5-7 years of administrative experience ideally in healthcare social services or a related environment.
Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion empathy and professionalism.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and database management tools.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
