Job Summary

KBR is seeking a highly organized and experienced Security Specialist to join our team to support to the Armys Search Track Acquire Radiate Eliminate (STARE) Project Office located on Redstone Arsenal AL. Serves as a security specialist supporting a government office in security disciplines including Information Security Industrial Security Physical Security Personnel Security OPSEC and Foreign Disclosure. Position requires attention to detail organizational skills multi-tasking and the ability to operate in a high-paced team environment. Travel up to 25%.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Develop security plans and procedures for handling safeguarding transmission receipt and generation of classified information.
• Review security clearance determinations for employees or other persons for access to sensitive information resources material or work sites.
• Support a multi-discipline security program to protect classified information located at all government and contractor facilities involved in the program.
• Support detailed security procedures (SOPs OPSEC Plans Treaty Plans etc.) to be implemented at all locations involved in the program.
• Continuously evaluate and modify security program as technology matures and progresses through research and development production and fielding ensuring continuous protection.

Basic Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret Security Clearance.
• Bachelor of Science degree or 4 years of job experience in alignment with the duties associated with this job description.

Desired Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of US Army Security systems and procedures.
• Familiarity with Army OSD and DoD organizations and staff processes desired.
