Job Summary

The HVAC BIM Detailer will be responsible for creating detailed 3D models and shop drawings for HVAC ductwork systems. coordinating with other trades and supporting the fabrication and installation processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of HVAC systems sheet metal fabrication and BIM coordination tools.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Essential responsibilities include but are not limited to performing the following regularly or as a backup:

  • Create accurate 3D models using AutoCAD and Revit
  • Generate detailed shop drawings fabrication and installation
  • Use Navisworks to run clash detection and resolve conflicts with other systems
  • Coordinate with other trade detailers to ensure integrated designs
  • Communicate with design teams contractors project managers and field personnel
  • Manage project documentation including submittals emails and design changes
  • Troubleshoot and resolve design challenges during coordination and installation

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit; Revit experience strongly preferred
  • Must have a strong knowledge of HVAC ductwork systems and sheet metal fabrication
  • Experience with Navisworks and clash detection processes
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Field installation experience is a plus
