PPM Scaffold Builder- OUTAGE (DOMTAR) 6.8

We are a leading industrial mechanical electrical and civil construction services provider for the fossil and nuclear power pulp and paper chemical mining and general manufacturing industries. We provide a full range of industrial facilities maintenance and process maintenance services.

MOR PPM Inc. is seeking scaffold builders for an outage in Bennettsville SC. Scaffold Builder is responsible for constructing and dismantling scaffolding at job sites. Must have 1-2 years work experience as a Scaffold Builder.

• Constructing scaffolding at job sites
• Dismantling scaffolding at job sites
• Determining the amount of materials needed transporting materials to job site and identifying appropriate construction locations
• Adhering to the Companys safety standards and enforcing safety regulations
• Cleans all work areas
• Performs any other duties assigned by supervisor
• Performs all work in a safe and efficient manner and keeps work area in a clean and orderly condition.

The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; and stoop kneel crouch or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to sit and climb or balance. May be required to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Must have 1-2 years work experience as a Scaffold Builder

High School Diploma or GED preferred

• Occasional lifting of items weighting a maximum of 50 pounds.
• Ability to climb stairwells up to 15 levels high.
• Ability to ascend and descend ladders (step extension cage) up to 24 high.
• Able to walk at a normal pace for up to 15 continuous minutes.
• Able to work from a standing position for 8-12 hours.
• Ability to twist and bend on a recurring basis.
• Weather conditions that can be expected are wet humid heat and cold bright/dim light traffic heights dusts and pollen.
• The job requires normal visual acuity field vision hearing speaking color perception sense of smell depth perception and texture perception.
• Some environments are in a high noise and vibrating area.
