What you will be doing
Prospect & Acquire New Business
- Aggressively target and win new business with large home remodelers custom home builders and high-volume contractors.
- Build a strong pipeline through consistent outbound outreach and high-touch engagement.
Develop Customer Portfolios
- Drive adoption of outdoor living products and generate pull-through demand in partnership with dealers and distributors.
- Build and nurture a portfolio of high-value accounts through ongoing relationship development.
Gather Market Intelligence
- Track and analyze trends in pricing customer behavior competitive dynamics and future pipeline opportunities.
- Provide actionable insights to inform strategy and improve positioning in the market.
Strategic Growth & Revenue Generation
- Build manage and grow a multi-million-dollar book of business.
- Utilize solution selling to meet customer needs and differentiate our offerings.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with internal teamsincluding channel partners sales leadership and marketingto deliver a seamless customer experience.
- Partner with distributors and dealers to maximize pull-through and market penetration.
Qualifications :
- Proven track record managing and growing a multi-million-dollar book of business in a hunter/gatherer sales role.
- B2B building materials background with strong end-user engagement experience.
- Demonstrated success selling to large remodelers custom home builders and high-volume contractors.
- Ability to travel 4060% to meet with customers partners and prospects.
- Proficiency with CRM systems (HubSpot preferred) for pipeline management and customer tracking.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills to identify trends and convert insights into action.
- Self-starter with exceptional organization time-management and follow-through abilities.
Preferred:
- Knowledge of outdoor living products (decking railing accessories).
- Strong negotiation communication and relationship-building skills.
- Familiarity with dealer and distributor networks.
Additional Information :
Fortune Brands believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is Hiring Pay Range: $70000 USD - $110000 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range or be above or below the range based on factors including but not limited to education training experience professional achievement business need and addition to base salary employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance or a role-based sales incentive plan.
