- Supervise and coordinate daily operations of the core production line to ensure on-time delivery and adherence to quality standards.
- Monitor production output identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions to maintain optimal throughput.
- Lead train and mentor production team members ensuring compliance with safety protocols SOPs and performance expectations.
- Conduct regular shift briefings performance reviews and feedback sessions to enhance team engagement and accountability.
- Maintain accurate records of production data machine performance material usage and incident reports.
- Collaborate with maintenance quality assurance and supply chain teams to resolve operational issues promptly.
- Enforce compliance with company policies health and safety regulations and environmental standards.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying inefficiencies and contributing to process optimization projects.
- Respond to urgent operational issues and escalate critical matters to management as needed.
- Ensure proper documentation and reporting of all production activities including KPIs and shift summaries.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Engineering Operations Management or a related field (preferred).
- 25 years of progressive experience in production supervision or operations management within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Proven track record of leading teams improving productivity and maintaining compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Strong knowledge of production processes equipment operation and quality control procedures.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel Word Outlook) and experience with ERP or production management systems (e.g. SAP MES).
- Excellent communication problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
- Ability to work flexible shifts including early mornings evenings or weekends as required.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform routine site inspections.
- Familiarity with OSHA or equivalent safety standards and experience in implementing safety audits.
