The Role: Psychology Where It Counts
As a Clinical Psychologist at EMH you will not be isolated in an office all day. You become part of a milieu within the skilled nursing facilities in which you would work.

Restores dignity to residents who feel forgotten
What Youll Be Doing
Your work will be meaningful varied and grounded in clinical excellence. You will:
Assess diagnose and treat residents in skilled nursing facilities
Provide psychological services to geriatric disabled and medically complex populations
Manage an active caseload with support from your clinical manager and administrative team
Collaborate closely with facility staff offering consultation guidance and in-services
Complete documentation aligned with medical necessity and Medicare standards
Its clinical practice without worrying about fee splitting overhead costs or stressing about billing and dealing with insurance companies. Most importantly you wont be working alone: EMH has built systems around our clinicians so you can focus on care.
Who This Role Is For
This role is for psychologists who:
Hold a PhD or PsyD in Clinical Psychology
Are licensed in California
Are Medicare-eligible (we assist with credentialing and paneling)
Value evidence-based practice and clinical flexibility
Are comfortable working with complexity and ambiguity
Want autonomy without isolation and support without micromanagement
You dont need prior SNF or geriatric experience. What you need is curiosity compassion and the ability to see the person behind the chart.
