Thepurposeof aCoreCompetency(CC)Technical Officerposition (Lawyer) istocontributewithspecifictechnical competencestoprojectimplementation. Specificresponsibilities
These responsibilities shall be adapted to the particularities of the job location and context phase of operationstrategicfocusand typeofprogrammeintervention.Thissectionshallberevisedwhenevera new employee is hired or the context changes significantly. LegalcasemanagementofbeneficiarycasesincludingenteringandupdatingactionsonICLA database providing updates on ICLA tools and necessary follow up within agreed deadlines.
Provideaccompanimenttoprojectparticipantstogovernmentalentitiesandpolicestationstoassistin obtaining their necessary documents.
Close liaison on legal matters with ICLA staff caseworkers in order to provide accurate and updated advice to ICLAbeneficiariesProvidelegalcounsellingontheissuesrelatedtotheCivilStatusLawLandlordand Tenants Law and Labour Law
Monitorof thecourtrepresentation casesbyICLAexternallawyersandpropercasefilepreparation priorto the court sessions
