Mater Private Hospital Rockhampton are seeking Undergraduate Students in Nursing (USiN) to join our caring and collaborative team on a casual basis.
Mater Private Hospital Rockhampton has been supporting the health of people living in Central Queensland for more than a century. Our heritage listed Kenmore building was purchased by the Sisters of Mercy in 1915 and opened as the first Mater Misericordiae Hospital north of Brisbane on 14 November in the same year.
Salary range: $33.88 - $34.33 per hour plus superannuation andaccess to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15900access to many staff benefits!
What youll be doing
In this role work is conducted under the direct supervision of a registered nurse assisting with patient care as delegated by the RN. A consistently high level of clinical care is delivered demonstrating sound clinical knowledge and collaborating with the registered nurse to plan deliver and evaluate patient-centred care. The position offers exposure to a variety of tasks and involves close cooperation with nursing colleagues and the wider healthcare team to ensure exceptional patient-centred outcomes. Responsibilities align with the knowledge and competency requirements established by university studies.
About you
You will be an undergraduate student in nursing (having completed 1st semester of 2nd year - full time equivalent). Documented evidence of completion is mandatory.
