Hop Harvest in Myrtleford Victoria immediate start!
Were looking for casual harvest workers for an immediate start. Harvest work is expected to go to the end of March.
Hops Products Australia (HPA) own and operate two hop farms in North East Victoria; Rostrevor Hop Gardens and Buffalo River Valley both located a 10-minute drive from Myrtleford.
Very limited accommodation is available on site so it is preferred that your have your own accommodation.
We need:
Casual harvest farm hands who will conduct a variety of tasks including
- Tractor & Ute driving transporting hops from the field to the processing facility candidates must be licenced to drive a manual vehicle.
- Truck driving- If applicant holds a minimum of an MC licence.
- Vine Loading unloading trailers of harvested hops loading vines for picking and sweeping in our picking facility.
- Forklift operating if applicant holds an Australian forklift high risk work licence.
Hours
Youll be required to work between 9 11.5 hour shifts depending on your role up to 6 days per week for the duration of harvest. Day and night shifts are available.
Pay
All HPA harvest casuals are paid under the Horticultural Award at Level 3 $32.04. You will receive on the job role-specific training to ensure you are fully supported in your role.
You must be physically capable of safely performing manual handling tasks. You will need to have your own reliable transport to get to and from work.
Very limited on-site accommodation is available. Its preferred that you have you own.
